    hello,

Almost entirely video card except for a few games that are also CPU-dependent. For more typical FPS types of games even with a $800 GTX 1080 Ti there’s no real difference between the cheapest i5-7400 and most expensive i7-7700k as the bottleneck is all the GPU. That’s not true of all games. Ashes of the Singularity gets used for benchmarks a lot because it’s both very CPU and GPU dependent. It’s also one of the few games that will see any immediate benefit from the newest Intel Coffee Lake chips (six core). DX12 makes it easier to use multiple cores but very few games see any benefit from anything more than a quadcore.

So video card. Anything with a Core i5-7400 (or new i5-8400) or up. At a very tight budget, the i3 or Pentium G4560 but there’s enough games that can utilize quadcore processors now that dual core isn’t ideal. Budget and intended resolution determine video card. For FDH/1080p, the 1060 is the best value/performance. For 1440p or VR the 1070 is substantially more expensive but is more the minimum. The price jump to the GTX 1080 isn’t really worth it for 1440p. For 4K at a minimum GTX 1080 and preferably a 1080 Ti. 4K gaming is still ludicrously expensive and on a lot of games you’ll still have to dial back the settings a bit.

    Please help.
    Thanks!

I didn’t find the right solution from the Internet.
